Ski pole size?

I just bought line darts, size 146. im about 5'4 and the guy said it should make a 90 degree angle but they just feel HUGE. i think im going to return them, but what size should i get?

i was thinking of just returning and getting the 142's or the 144's. sorry for the repost. new here. didn't even think to search. so i'll just return and get the 142's

i like the 90 degree rule but short poles are better for park

yeah i went for the 142's and the guy wa like uhh you should try the 146's theyd work better. so i'll just return them and get smaller. thanks guys

Cut them to 40" and see how that feels, maybe another 1.5 inches if your only skiing park.

Uh, I'm 6'5 and I ride 36's. Its just preference. I hate having longer poles, I went from 48 to 36. Slowly.

i like a really small pole when i am in the park and jsut jibbing around, and deep powder. but thats coz i think it looks to have long poles flailing in the air and such, and the shortness makes you get done low in the powder (but not too low)

um you said your around 5 feet?  5-6 cm should be good for your height, feel free to cut them down a little too
