eh, theres only been a couple screw ups that were notable in line's history, the black and white invaders and their delaming, and other top sheet issues. and this was all happening while being made in the u s of a. now taht theyve been moved to china/k2 it would seem theyd be more "cheap" but infact seem better. most of the skis this "cheapness" woudl happen on are capped skis, as opposed to sidewall. ive had two pairs of capped "budget" line skis (invaders and olddddddd darkside ((best park ski ever)))
this argument could also be had on salomon, who has notorious binding explosion issues on older "high end" bindings, and their 1080s with the space frame (foam). not so comparatively being a huge company, but still, a ski company.
and theyre cheap because they cost next to nothing, and you get what you pay for. but on the inverse, look at the afterbang in person, and tell me line is cheap. shit is sooooooooooooooooooooooo sick.
all in all, i love line, and will definitley be getting some afterbangs in the future.
