Replying to Looking for advise about biodiesel

If anyone has a diesel truck or run vehicles on biodiesel im trying to get some information about it. I plan on doing some big mountain comps next year and driving to them with my friends in a truck run on bio diesel. I was motivated to do this after i read about a guy doing the same thing recently, check out sustainableseasons.org. Anyways im trying to learn what i can about it before i drop a lot a good chunk of change into this idea. If you have any tips, words of wisdom, or other ideas let me know. Im trying to find a way to do a small part to reduce emissions, decrease my impact on the environment, and at the same time enjoy getting out in the mountains to ski.
