Removing Brakes from Binding?

I'm wondering if there is a way to remove brakes from your binding. I kind of want to try a little ground trick this year where when I put my skis on I put one on then move a foot or too and while moving throw my other ski down and snap into it on the fly. I got to thinking about it and assumed that the brakes would have to be removed to do this. Has anybody done this ground trick i'm talking about? Do you need to take your brakes off? Or am I wrong and you can leave them on. If you need to take them off does anybody know a way you can do it? I can post a pic of my bindings. There cheap rossi's and I can't find the name for them.

it's really easy to take a break off of a binding, they attach to the binding with a single screw most of the time, but it is a BAD IDEA do to so unless you are going to use leashes.

your ski pops off without breaks it is a serious hazard to other skiers and can be very difficult to find if it veers of into the woods at mach 2 (i know from experience)

keep your breaks on and just put your skis on normally. who are you trying to show off for that you need such sick "putting on my gear tricks"? do you have one for your boots too where you take off the buckles and straps so you can hang off a doorframe above them and drop right in? if not, you should, because that would be just as dumb and useless.

Nope. I'm not a big fan of wallisch personally. I liked him awhile ago but now kids look up to him as good, uncalled for in my opinion. Kids good no doubt, has a great attitude, insane style. Hes crazy good. I saw it in an episode of en route I believe. And it's not really showing off, it's just having fun. I mean why not switch up how you snap into your bindings every once in awhile.

is there a way to take the lens out of ur gogglez?  i like skiing with goggles for the style, but i just want to rock mine differently.  i don't get lenses anyway.  i mean, what are they for?  please help i really want to ski without lenses in my goggles

this really isnt a trick at all, just takes good aim. i do this almost everytime i click in, its not hard

terrible idea. have fun chasing your ski when it pops off and have fun buying new ones when it launches in the woods and breaks or gets lost

yeah taking your brakes off isnt the best idea but you could hold them up with an elastic somehow and then once you do your cool new trick snap the elastic

i know what you mean, its pollard from en route japan. however im pretty sure he still had brakes on. from experience if you loose your ski with breaks on even the most mellow hill your unlikely to ever get it back, and very likely to seriously injure someone!

Take the heel peice off, then detach the peice that you step on that is connected to the break. On the underside of that you can see where the breaks connect, just wiggle them out and try not to break anything they ll be pretty snug. Oh and seriously get leashes if your gonna take off your breaks.
