Replying to Campstoves? MSR Simmerlite vs. MSR Whisperlite.

So I'm looking at campstoves to use while backpacking, camping, hiking, and for road biking trips.

I would like a stove that is fairly light, small (fits in 1.5L pot?), durable, and burns white gas.

Basically these two stoves fit the bill pretty well; the Whisperlite being a classic, proven stove.  And the simmerlite being pretty much the same but a little smaller, lighter, and slightly more expensive.

I know NS isnt the best place to ask this kinda stuff, but any experiences or recommendations would be great!
