first off, yes, i searchbarred and i only found suggestions on the use of epoxy, but i was wondering if anyone could come up with something else. i don't necessarily care about fixing the topsheets so much as making the damage look easier on the eye.
^ i tried clear p-tex but when i melt it on it is too thin to accumulate quickly. these are rental skis at the ski shop i work at and i'm just trying to make them look like they aren't so destroyed. i fucked 'em up pretty good-like and none of the gapers want to rent them...
Put it under the topsheet and then clamp your ski between 2 pieces of two by four. Let it set for 24 hours and then unclamp and remove the pieces of wood. Use a razor blade to remove all the excess/drips. And dont forget to use the glue sparingly, Gorilla Glue expands into a foam so a little goes a long way.
