Ok so I'm finally moving on from the terrible pain in the ass known as the Davis and Stanford FM18 Provista tripod.
The most expensive tripod I can get is around 400 dollars. That is hardly enough money in the tripod world. I NEED a reliable tripod that performs far better than the Davis and Stanford.
At first I was looking at the popular (and trendy) Bogen/Manfrotto 501HDV setup. I started to think this was my only option, but I wasn't sure if it would be any better than my current system. People say that the 501HDV is a piece of shit though and that it isn't a real fluid head (which it is not).
I looked a little further and found the Libec LS22 tripod system (H22 head). I heard people on DVX User saying that Libec's are good.
Now to my question.
Does anyone have any experience with the Libec tripod?
