sure, he isnt as good as every pro out there...
But he is trying.
Brought one of the first dubs to the table in pipe, opened some doors for Tanner, Kevin R.....Dorey, the list goes on.

common guys peter olenick is the guy that everyone can relate to. Just cuz he doesn't sensor himself to be some pretty boy doesn't mean hate on him. I got respect for the guy for being one of the first if not the first to toss a double in the pipe. Pete your a badass

Peter is a good guy. One night at a dinner during the Mt Snow Dew Tour he was reviewing footage of some of his competitors (friends) and was coaching them on how they could improve upon their tricks or take their 7's to 9, etc. He has incredible foresight into how the body rotates based on take off, grabs, etc. Don't get me wrong, he's a fun guy but don't mistake that fun as stupidity. You'd be hard pressed to find someone that's a better mentor and teacher for some of these up and comers.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Pete has to offer this year.

I see no reason for all of you to hate on Olenick so much, he had some problems but he has made a good effort to get back on track. He's still an awesome skier.

dude its shit like this that makes me dislike him more and more why do sponsors support him? He in my opinion is the biggest freeloader in all of skiing. He has so much natural air talent but makes skiing a second priority. He needs to give his spotlight to a skier that actually deserves to be noticed.

I guess that Pete O in some ways is the Bode Miller of our sport.

All jokes aside, maybe he has been struggling trying to progress when everybody around him keeps on throwing down harder and harder. That might be the explanation to why he has chosen to separate himself from the tough pack of skiers that are now considered the best in the world.

it isn't whether you care or not about dub flips, hell, you dont even need to like them, just have some respect for them.
They take a man with a mad mind to try a new double, and open doors for all of us.

Liking something and respecting something are 2 WAY different things.

mike michalchuk was doing dubs in the pipe like 10 years ago, then everyone got sick of them, now they seem to be coming back. On skis toben sutherland was doing them in "13".....
