so i was thinking.
with all the recent trolling and noob hate, mods cant be online 24/7 seeing everything.
so what if we just have people send in usernames and what not to the mods if its an ongoing problem.

we could give it a cool name too.
like... troll patrol.

Oh yeah dude, great idea. Let us say I make a comment about how some idea or opinion of yours is stupid or I rather brazenly make an opinion that you disagree with. You then send my name to a mod. I get banned for not ACTUALLY doing anything wrong. It is like the karma system, it has an inherent flaw in it.

i dunno how i feel about this idea. it's got some validity, but you would have to have really good reasons for banning someone, or sending the name in general. plus i bet the mods would not like the increase in PMs they receive. and on the other hand, just because someone's a noob, that's not a reason to ban them. we were all noobs once...

yes but are you really going to follow up with what hes saying and go after those who get their names PMed to you? without looking into it? this idea just doesn't seem logical. maybe giving you a heads up about a certain thread and page number and you can look through it yourself. but someones name? really?
