Aight NS i got a question for you..(school)

So heres the deal. Im in my third semester in a banking and finance program. I dont mind the program or anything, at first I really liked it and it was very interesting. But as im going through the classes I find that I would rather be doing other things and basically forcing my self to sit through class. So it got me thinking why not switch programs? So im thinking about Graphic Design..Its something I could see myself actually waking up every morning to do, and making an enjoyable career out of. But am skeptical because of how long ive been in the other program.

So what do you guys think? any thoughts or advice?

wow fuck NSG.

but coming from a graphic design major who is considering changing away...this isn't the best major. i am really into it and im pretty good as well, but its not really that practical, and there is a lot of shit that goes with it. it depends a lot on internships and who you know, its just difficult i guess. obviously, it is alluring because you can make bank and do something you love everyday but it isnt exactly the smartest move, especially in this economy.

ill add way more when it isnt 3am.

Banking and finance? Stay with it man. If you find a decent finance job, you'll be able to retire when you're 35.
Average salary of an investment banker: $100,000+ plus bonus upwards of $700,000.
However, third semester isn't very late. You still have time to get out, I would advise you not to though.

your not too far into the program, yeah you can make bank doing that but at the same time you dont want a career job that you dread each and everyday
