So the Seniors in my High School are required to present a thesis on ANY given topic in a presentation between 15 and 20 minutes long. The only thing I have in mind is, "Food products sold in the U.S. should be required to bear the 'Genetically Modified' stamp if any or all parts of the product are indeed so." Please help me think of something, my secondary thesis statement is due Friday. Get Crackin!
this would take a lot of work, but would be worth it if you pulled it off. Make up some super scientific theory and do a bunch of fake research behind it making up a complete history of fake scientists and stuff. basically try to get the whole class/school/faculty to believe some bizarre scientific theory or whatever.
or just do an easy thing like The History of ________ anything. history presentations are the easiest possible thing.
This actually isn't a bad idea. You could take surveys about cheating and how many people actually do their own work and then claim that because of this trend that certain things in school are pointless because they just teach kids how to cheat better.
You could write about Turkey trying to joing the European Union. What they have done up to this point, what they are trying to do. The gov. v. the public point of view. What there future will be and if they will ever become a member of the EU. You take this one in your own direction, but its a pretty interesting topic.
Maybe the Kurds and their want for their own state and why it will most likely never happen.
Or just pick up a news paper and find something controversial. There is a lot of stuff out there.
This just got me thinking, in sixth grade me and my friends actually got some chick to think gullible was a flavor of poptarts hahahaha definatley do it on gullibility
Pick something you like, but I disagree with your thesis. All foods are genetically modified, do you think apples, grapes, and oranges just grew that big in nature? They and tons of other things we eat have been domesticated through the centuries. GE foods aren't any different. Then again I guess a label doesn't really matter that much. I don't vehemently disagree.
Pirates, as we traditionally define them (Parrots, grog, wenches) have significantly dropped in numbers since the eighteenth century. A somali with an AK does not a pirate make.
well, it looks like i'm going with gm foods. The gullibility idea is good, but I can't risk failing my senior year. We have to pass the thesis to graduate. Btw, of course our fruits and veggies are gm, my point is that alot of people don't know that. Seeing as the company behind it, Monsanto, has lied about important health concerns before, it would make sense that there is something amiss about these mutant foods. This is a company that has intentionally given people cancer and fabricated "experimental" results.
