Hey, im gonna respond here instead of in Ski Gabber, more revelant here,
yah im in Addington, and i know the Les Rez has huge rooms, there so nice.

did you join the ski and snowboard club? cause they do trips and shit.
going to Vermont in January with them, and they do day trips to Glen Eden and Blue or so i heard.

Yeah yeah, I signed up for the trip as well.
I was told they try to do a bus to Blue every Friday night, and people car pool to Glen daily, so I'm pretty stoked about that.
What's the word on Glen, I've never been

Glen Eden sucks man, so bad.
The park is made by boarders, and they dont take care of it.

Apparently there moving it to a new spot this year so hopefully it will be better.

Anything in North Campus is sick, South is..different? Very concrete and junk, personally I would stick to the North like Johnston, Mills, Lennox Addington, Lambton stuff like that

im in south, and i love it.... ya its not really the nicest place haha doesnt really give the home feeling, nothing close, but you get to  meet a ton of people...

i've found some sick urbans around town, we all gotta jib them sometime

Yeah dude I would be down to hit a urban for sure, probably next semester when we get some snow haha I met this really cool chick who snowboards, super legit, spent 2 summers at COC so she would be down as well

yeah see people chirp south all the time, and are like eww dont live in sounth first year, but i suggest south to everyone. i lived in mills first year, and although the building and rooms were nicer south is the best res. all you first years though definitely missed out, what's this i hear about no open alcohol anywhere? are the R.A.'s stricter now or something? because last year campus looked like a typhoon had hit every weekend

i live in Addington and love it, we pre-drink here then just go other random places, it helps when you know people in Lambton, South and East, makes for good times.

Pertaining to the alcohol comment, you are allowed open alcohol in your room but no beer bottles or anything about a 26, but lets just say if the cops checked our draw under our bed, we'd be busted, haha.

not supposed to have open alcohol in the lounges or hallways, but it doesn't stop most people, and besides mostly the RAs just either ask you to pour it out or put a lid on it or something
only if you do it multiple times in 1 night will something happen.

MILLS HALL is the way to go. such a great res..sooo chill. anything else in the north is pretty legit too, LA was pretty fun..but i thought it was anything up to a 40 that was allowed? just no beer bottles? i dont recommend south, the food was pretty lame down there.. you are gonna want and need creelman hall. soo delicious.

haha, thats pretty funny, i lived in 109  the year before you.. i ended up living with 2 girls from 110.  you could also make bunkbeds, triple stackers... shit, now im starting to miss mills.

Residence is what you make of it. Anywhere will be awesome if you do it up properly. Oh, except for the fact that there's only one Creelman. Shit's cash.

Regarding skiing, Guelph's got plenty of urban stuff, even a couple spots on campus. Church rail is pretty well known, although it pretty simple. I suggest everyone join the GSC, everyone knows they have the best parties.

up gordon all the way down town, past bits bikes and boards and the farmers market. it's right after you go under the train bridge. and the church is visible from far far away, so you can't really miss it

i know there's a bunch of stair sets because the church is on a hill. there's a pretty sweet ledge too that you could drop. but you should message JFerg. He probably knows best

No drop in required, there's a small set of stairs above the rail that you use for speed. Someone usually sets it up as soon as it snows, it usually takes about 10 minutes, real easy.
