Friend's Website.. trying to generate traffic

My friend is working on a new website for a small business they run from his house, he is looking for any feedback on his site. He is looking for some ideas on what to change and any and all suggestions. Oh, and some of the pics are just placeholders until he figures out the best images to use. Thanks everyone.

It looks pretty good. It's obviously no professional webpage, but it's good for starting out. Tell him he did a good job and to keep it up.

Yeah, I don't know anything about website making so I went on the site and refreshed the page a bunch of times to boost the views.

I refreshed it a lot as well. Is there a counter that I am missing or will it even help in the long run?

ads at the bottom of the page generate money for each click on the website. hopefully refreshes count towards the clicks.
