Nj Sucks

I go to this little PA mountain and it sucks, one small park, short laps, and slow lifts. The real parks near me are filled with boarders from NYC that cant ride a simple blue if you had them at gunpoint.

Where do you go thats gaper free without a big trip to New England?

go to big boulder its like 10 min past blue mountain. big has a sick park for PA. plus isnt there an indoor ski place in NJ?

yo new jersyian here too and i hate it im currently going to college at rutgers but im from warren county i go to shitty shawnee and camelback and i dont have a freestyle skiing crew since all my friends board.  i need some good ppl to chill with every once and a while to get better. i just got 3's down last year before i broke my thumb but yea hit me up or pm me. nj does suck balls.  im going to tremblant for 5 days in january tho so i hope that will make up for it

I'm from the dirty Jerz, and regardless of what people think, Jersey is a nice place to live as long as you don't live in fuckin' Newark or some shit.  Got a few buddies who go to Rutgers that shred too.  I'mma be in Jerz from the 18th to whenever the fuck I come back up to UVM so hit me up sometime, I'm pretty much gonna spend my life at either Blue, C-Back or Boulder, depending on who tickles my fancy, I'm pretty stoked to ride in PA again haha, EAST COAST FUCK YEAH.

@chickendodo. sounds awesome yea im from a small town in warren county its pretty nice but here at rutgers i saw some guy get punched in the face for no reason and witnessed a knife fight lol.  yea im off for break the 23rd to jan 18th but ill be at tremblant from jan3-8 cant wait. i come home weekends too and ill probably come a lot more once some snow stars fallin

yo a mountian that is super underrated is Bear Creek in Pa. pretty sick for the area. Never super crowed but it has a legit park for how small it is

Yea dude for sure, this thread creator is ignorant to say that elk is "Crowded"......are you kidding me? Elk is one of the best kept secrets on the east coast- they get hit hard with snow and no one goes there. Yeah the park aint great but when i was there 2 years ago they had two decent hits actually. I feel like the snow quality at Elk rivals some Vermont resorts just because it does NOT get skied off nearly as much.

i'm not joking, creeks got a park pass system set up now so that will keep gapers out. it has two peaks dedicated to park. you should at least check it out before you say it sucks. and plus, we're all cool guys, we'd be happy to ride with you.

other than creek though, big boulder is the best. best park, best skiers, etc

dude its gonna be guido central. sure itd be cool to ski at during the summer, but lift tickets are also way more cause you have to pay to keep the place cold and stuff when during winter we got natural air conditioning

I go to creek allmost every weekend.

Ive been to elk twice. its literaly the worst mountain ive been too. the lifts that they have are rediculous. i talked to a ski patrol about it and he told me that it is so slow because they dont want to drop to many people at the peak. the park is so small that you can see the bottom of it from the top of it. its about 200 feet long.

camel back is actually not that bad. i like it. the park is pretty fun. but overall creek is on top for sure. for us skiers around new jersey its really nice to have. especially because it has a whole peak dedicated to park. plus there arent to many gapers. just a few that are really gay

i think im headin over to camelback this weekend. they are supposed to be opening on the 5th and its supposed to snow on the 5th too so that should be cool.  they say they will be open from 9-4 only tho so i hope the ticket price will be discounted

this is true. i drive 4 hours every weekend to get as far away as possible!

and considering mountian creek is in NJ it really isnt that bad. ive done a few day trips back in the day.
