no offense but thats ignorant. every good league has 50-80 years on us, i'm sure the mls will be up to par by then. thats the problem with mainstream america, they don't have any patience. mls is actually developing nicely
i don't know though because what good players are going to come to the mls and leave the prospect of playing champions league football? i think the only possibility that the mls would be on par with the european leagues is if champions league becomes a world club championship rather than being exclusively european
Football, the world game not that soft American garbage.
And MLS will never catch up to world footy unless it changes its model drastically. The only league it's on par with right now is the Eyetalian Serie A.
multiple leagues, relegation, promotion. 38 game season, no playoffs....various things. model it off the english style. it seems to have worked well for them.
you can't start a league and just implement multiple leagues with relegation and promotion, takes time/ need more teams and cities. they are doing the best they can with the amount of teams they have. hell the have a reserve league/ lower leagues but imagine putting an a league team in the mls. rofl
