Vectorizing Logos

Hey guys,

I just purchased a Creation P-Cut Vinyl Cutter for making custom die cuts.

The cutting software I will be using is signcut pro and I also have Illustrator and Photoshop.

I was wondering how to vectorize a logo besides using the live trace function in illustrator, which works most of the time, but looks sloppy for certain logos.

or.

good ole hand trace it and spend the 1 hour doing it by hand..

if you use the trace function correctly then simplify the path you can reduce the number of points and it will look good.

i would help you with some logos if you could print me off some little stickers.. i would pay some money for them throuhg paypal or whatever

convert to raster, live trace, then live paint.
