Need help shipping ASAP

so heres the deal, im trying to ship some skis from oregon to maine and fedex.com gives me a rate of $23.49 when i enter the dimensions of the package to the closest 1/2 inch and wieght to 10ths of a lb. I have taken them to two different shipping places and both times they people told me it would be $39 to ship them, which seems a little ridiculous to me.

How do i go about making it not cost $39 to ship them? any tips/advice is much appreciated and will get a K bukkake.


heres the package(on its side) for reference along with the dimensions. its measures 68 long x 8.5 wide x 3.5 high and weighs 9.2 lbs

nothing you can do, they usually charge extra for a very long package like skis. its going from one corner of the US to the other, Price sounds about right, have u tried ups?

did you click residential address when you put them in online (it changes it from fedex ground to fedex home)? shipping to a residence is more expensive, and that's easy to miss. might have led to the confusion.

other than that i'm not sure what you can do. fedex is usually cheapest in my expirience.

that is as nice a box as they get

my guess is usps will charge you about 25 unless they're crazy long skis and you get balloon charges

ive gone to one ups only place and one that ships with every carrier(sp?). i just dont see how the price nearly doubles when i take them in. its bullshit, ive only shipped skis along the west and it only cost about 20.

more advice/tips NS?

I hate USPS for packaged bigger than 1' long. UPS for sureeeeeee, the fedex for ground shipping. USPS is more for smaller packages

yeah dude ive shipped two pairs of hellbents, a pair of t-halls, a pair of elizabeths and a pair of foils.
ALL THROUGH UPS.
cheapest by far. (at least it was for me)

I shipped my 160s last week at USPS for $8.

I'd recommend looking into them.

heres what you do go to the online site of any shipping place and enter everything and get a shipping label from online then tape it too the box and your good.

they arent going to tell you its gunna cost more if you did it online and ive done it before and it was like 15 bucks less

Here is the deal, from someone who has 1000 feedback on Ebay.  USPS is ALWAYS the cheapest.  I really don't care what you are sending.  Seriously.  So here is what you need to do.  Go on USPS.com and use your credit card to print out a shipping label. It is quite easy, and it is cheaper to do online than do in the post office.  On top of all that, they will pick it up at your front door if you leave it for when the mailman comes.  I am guessing if you do it right it will be $23 or $24, and that is impressive considering you are sending it just about as far across the country as possible.

Okay dude, if you ship UPS. you have nothing to worry about, i shipped my 180cm TNK's to Trav (who lives in maine) i think and it was under $20, i was super surpirsed, but i live in washington, but maybe those extra costs are covering free serving gas fillers you oregon people have.

hahaha, on that note. i went to Seattle this summer and sat in my car for a good 3 to 4 minutes at the pump before i realized i had to pump it myself, needless to say i felt like a newb of all sorts

hahaha yeah when i go to bachelor every once in a while, my mom or dad always get out ready to fill it, and the people who fill up our gas, just kinda look at you funny when your at the pump just standing there doing their job, lol
