but are people really willing to spend $400+ for the 18 din and $300 + for the 14? when they can get the older fks/pivots for around $150?

the 140s have the same plastic toe piece with upward realease that all of rossis of the past few years have had. e.g. the px 14 the p 14 the fkx etc. however they did put the wider afd from the 155 and 185 fks onto the new 140's. the new heel isnt any wider than any of the other semi modern turntable heels. also for anyone who thinks that older turntables are hard to find go to a fuckin ski swap seriously or just check out ebay a pair of fks geze 180 aka the best turntable binding ever made sold on ebay yesterday for 80 dollhairs. and the brakes arent anything new. yes now they come in two different sizes 90 or 115 but the old ones came in 80 and 115 so nothing new. and anyways any good shop can bend em for you. to the op: do not even think about wasting your money on these new ones rossi is just using the demand on these to make major bank. get some older ones for cheap at ski swaps. and if you catch some gaper tryna buy the pair your after just go up to him and rotate his heel and tell him theyre broken and you need them for parts hell hand em over. thread/
My friend freaked out when he put his all sideways just to make a show and see if anyone actually thought they were broken. Pretty funny.
