No Ski & Snowboard Check in 2009-2010In an effort to cut costs, Bogus Basin will NO LONGER offer a Ski and Snowboard check at either lodge. In turn, new racks have been built to stow gear and Bogus Basin’s Black Diamond Sports will offer low-cost combination locks for skis and snowboards. Bogus Basin encourages all guests to take responsibility for their own gear and keep it secure. This move will save your non-profit area more than $70,000 annually, one of numerous cost cutting measures taken to keep skiing and riding affordable at Bogus Basin.


i think im gonna be spending my 3 weeks skiing Brundage.

i know more people who steal from Bogus then buy shit. also, stealin is extra shitty for Bogus because theyre a non-profit organization...... so shitty for them, Bogus will soon prolly end up like Tamarack hahaha, then where will we shred after school?!

And even if they had more moey who knows what they would do with it, they may just do stupid stuff and waste it, but they could also make things better so the haters could maybe like bogus a little more, im not saying bogus is great, But its a business and when they arent making the money they need because people steal from them, its not going to get better.

Its simple logic really. If you arnt willing to pay for a product you, and you steal it, you arnt going to then later get a better product because the company loses money and has too make changes to keep running.

Isnt it like that at just about every restaurant or fast food place that a bacon cheeseburer a couple bucks more same with a cheese burger.


Really you guys are hating on there prices and such when almost every place that you dont even steal from is the same.

this is my first year skiing at bogus, it actually is a lot better than expected, the terrain I mean, not the park, that is still pretty weak.

But Is Bogus really that sketchy thath stuff gets stollen? I just bought my new set up and don't want it stolen.
