How to build a DFD

you need 20ft of 3inches abs pipes, 8 pieces of 8ft 2x4, screws and rafter nails ( http://www.timber.org.au/ewebeditpro4/upload/nailplate_connection(11).jpg )

Sounds like you can build the top of it like that, but how will it stand up?

You need supports (length depending on the height),supports on the bottom of previous supports, add supports to bottom, and if you want to make the rail really stable add supports underneath the rail itself.

yes but the thing is that all the parts are removable so i can set it as a down flat or a massive down
