This lack of snow..
The ski areas prolonging their opening dates every week.
I am the most eager I have EVER been.
this is horrible.
sorry for the rant, but i'm 100% that anyone in the same situation feels the exact same.

I live in AZ, I am beginning to think that the fact that i never had hope in the first place puts me in a better situation than you. Because atleast I was never planning on skiing until llike spring break

i cant ski till the 18th and i cant REALLY ski till i go to tremblant in january and u have no idea how bad the urge is. like i have been watching hours of ski movies. i just got done with in deep. the end made me really sad

fun fact... whistler blackcomb has 2/3 of there yearly average already....
parck city only has like 29 inches... i mean our park is legit but there really isnt naturaly snow in the forcast , and being as no real snow it feels like east coast iced out landing for the cooler days.
now i know eventually it will snow here in utah but as far as i can see in the forcast its just gunna be cool and dry.. it will come be partient

Usually around this time hills on the EC have already built up their bases quite a bit.... is this gonna effect the duration of the 09-10 season???

i know exactly how you feel.
the weather is so random, one day it's freezing cold and on days like today its warm out. i was supposed to be skiing this weekend, but now i have to wait till next weekend if the mountain is even open by then ):

Mother nature gave you guys all your precipitation in the Summer. I put up with summers that hit 112 a fair amount, but now it's 40 out where I live and my resort have been making snow around the clock for the past three days. The five inches of natural snow didn't hurt either. We were sliding the snowmaking pipes for awhile and then ski patrol closed it off. I've logged three days so far, i should have logged four.

its kinda funny how it hasnt snowed at all in november pretty much anywhere off the west coast

and whistler, has just had the snowiest november ever, and opened 2 weeks early
