Mahre shredding winter X on hellbents!?

just peepin old NS wall papers and found this one of mahre using hellbents in xgames slopestyle it looks like. pretty sick. who else can you think of using fat rockered skis in slopestyle comps?

But you make it seem like Pep and Andy aren’t trying to make a living by skiing. Just because their names are recognizable in the ski industry doesn’t mean that they make lots of money (or even much money at all). And it’s not like they didn’t want to win X-Games, Andy said they both threw down the best runs they could put together, they but they both crashed on their two qualifying runs. Furthermore, NOBODY could have beat Candide that year. Not PK, not Wallisch. Candide put down one of the cleanest slopestyle runs in history. Even if Andy and Pep had generously dropped out of the biggest comp of the year in hopes that PK or Wallisch would make some money instead of them, the podium wouldn’t have changed.
