"For bigger tricks, you don't really want to push that much. If the jump has a good lip, just ride into it with flexed knees and a comfortable posture, and as you go up the transition, gradually extend your legs. It's really a lot timing and a little strength. Just don't push too hard too fast, make sure it's a gradual, smooth, natural extension of your legs."

"i learned to come into the jump with my legs wide, like shoulder width apart, and crouched kinda low with my wieght on the balls of my feet. as i come into the lip i just stand up, not too fast, and not too slow, just stand. then when i am in the air i am really balanced and it helps a lot."
