FS - 186 Rossignol S3 Koopman

I have new, unmounted 186 Rossi S3 Koopman's I picked up almost two months ago. I decided these aren't for me, so need to get my money back . They are $450 which is what I paid.

The Rossignol S3 Koopman Ski brings directional, pow-friendly float and symmetrical park-and-pipe performance in one package thanks to Rossignol's Amptek rocker technology. While the dimensions listed suggest a directional ski, the true sidecut of the S3 is a symmetrical 110 / 98 / 110 when you're carving off a groomed lip. Amptek rocker means the wide tip and pinned tail only come into play when you get into deep snow.

I have skied there S3's and I 'like them alot but chatter around high speeds. Other than that they are an awesome low pow and park tool.. the rocker helps with buttery moves and such..

thanks for the link...

i did read that thread... i suppose i am looking for people who have skiied it or at least been able to handle it in a shop and compare it to a seth and the shogun.

so what are its upsides/downsides when you compare it to its peers?

can't compare to the seth, but the shogun is a bit stiffer and is not a true twin tip (semi twin tail). the tip is only rockered with reg camber for the rest of the ski versus the s3 which is a twin tip with early rise in the tip and tail. the s3 has a softer tip and tail, with a med/med-stiff flex under foot with traditional camber. the s3 has the same basic shape as the s7, just a bit stiffer through out and has a 110/98/110 sidecut that handles like a true twin in the park when not in soft/pow.

i honestly couldn't say. i would assume the early rise tip and tail would help stay on top of it though.
