Anyways, you can try my booster straps that I didn't put on my CS Pros yet and see if they help. With what you're talking about it might just move your shin bang to the very top of your boot though, along with possibly cutting off some circulation.
Or novacaine, every 3 hours, by your shins. Walking might become hard though.

i have great fitting boots and last year i got some serious shinbang, i wondered what the hell was going on until one day i saw that my socks were sliding down and bunching up down by my ankle, i changed and got a good pair of socks that stayed up and problem solved!!
ex: good socks that dont slide around prevent shinbang too!
ive got the same problem so ive started to just land switch.
