Attaching 3inch pvc pipe to wood???

Just wondering what the best way to do it would be, it'll be similar to this one https://www.newschoolers.com/web/content/pictures/id/223906/member_id/110357/ but from what i could see there are only two bolts in it, will that be stable enough? or would i have to put other screws in along the middle? thanks +k

Just drill holes through the top of the PVC every 1.5-2 feet and screw them in with a magnetic drill/screw driver.  Works great and the holes won't affect the rail at all

Also the design in the picture has good lateral bracing but really no bracing in the other direction. I could see the legs folding over eventually.

one thing that i would do with pvc is turn the whole thing over and just use regular screws up from the bottom.  just apply pressure so that the pvc doesnt push away from the wood.  if it does just unscrew it and do it again because it will be easier the 2nd time

this is the best/easiest way for you.

ive done the drilling through the top too and there is not much difference and alot more work. Just get your one or two pieces of pvc (if a double barrel) i usually tape my together so they stay good while i screw into them from the wood.

Just put the wood your using over the pvc then being to drill into the wood into the pvc. It usually doesnt do in flush the first time so once you hit the pvc and the wood lifts a bit just back off the screw then screw it in again.  Depending on the size of the rail im not sure how many screws youll need in each rail, but try to have a pretty good amount. (5 for 10 ft?)

Then just screw on an angle into the supports or legs
