Friends that flake on you

Right, so Im always trying to make plans with my friends and everything, just trying to have a good time. But almost every time, someone bails, or they just forget. Apathy runs rampant on both parties. Does anyone take any social initiative anymore?
I mean, the internet is chill, but being with actual people is always more fun and more entertaining. Why the bullshit?

I feel the same way. If you make plans, keep them, unless your grandmother is dying or whatever, there's not really any reason to be "that guy".

A lot of my friends usually just dont tell me what they are doing or include me in their plans..wich is think is just as bad.

But on the ditching note, I dont really get ditched that often, but i kinda ditch people quite often...so i hope im not looked at as a douche bag.

ya man i totally understand! for an example

My friend thomas invite me and two other buddies to go to park city with him, he said to meet at the jibyard at 8

so me and my buddies got dropped of their the at right about 8.

so we waited and waited and waited till about 9, and he never showed up, so we chilled in a hotel till our parents came and got us!!

our parents ended up taking up to pc though

Wow I agree, I have so many "friends" who are flakes. I tend to not be there friend as much though honestly. My best friends are genuine people who care, and often times people that I ski with regularly.

Pet Peeve - When someone says they will do something, (like call you back or whatever) and they don't. What's wrong with people. I always call back.

minus your intense negativity and egregious spelling errors I kinda have to agree. You guys need to chill... someone bailing on giving you a ride is one thing but being so concerned with people attending your event or coming to kick it is missing the point. Just enjoy yourself and others will start to do it with you.

but bro, its not at all just one time. Some of these kids I chill with are repeat offenders. Ive been good friends with them for years, some of them I ski with every day in the winter at my home hill, but any chilling off the hill and they are noncommital. It just pisses me off

Ugh, I hate people like you. Yes I have friends, and I get out a lot and have a good social life, but I don't consider any of my friends at my school to be "true" friends. I have three true friends up in VT, but my "friends" at my school are mostly just douches who have told me that if a cop stopped us and I had weed on me or something, they would bail. I don't consider them to be good friends. Does that make me a loser or a fag?
