CJ Spiller is the best all around athlete in College Football, who has put up Heisman worthy numbers, both receiving, rushing, and returning kicks this year with Clemson

Ht: 5-11 Wt: 195
Comment: Spiller, who is one of the best all-around players in the nation, had an average game, rushing for 58 yards and a touchdown. Spiller's overall numbers are solid, especially when you include the 33.9-yard kickoff return average and four TDs on returns.

out of curiousity do you go to clemson or are an alum?



i think spiller is a beast. probably my favorite player in college ball but i dont think he will win the heisman. for one clemsons record is not very good. and losing to SC today didnt help at all. besides his kickoff return CJ was not himself today and basically did not put up a good case for heisman. i really doubt he will win although i hope he does.

regardless i cant wait to see him returning kicks on sundays next season.

Who?

It's going to be REAL tough to compete with people like Tebow and Ingram getting all kinds of national exposure AND the big numbers.

tebow is definetly in the race.

i like mccoy and gerhart. if i had a vote id vote for gerhart. but my gut says mccoy will win it.

ingram played himself out of contention the other night.

ingram definitely put himself out.

colt and tebow put up good nmbers but colts were better.

and gerhart has better stats and is a better runner than ingram in the first place

gerhart should win

jahvid best from cal berkeley would have been a dope choice but his o-line decided to blow it all year he didn't get a chance. and fuck tebow.

Am I the only person who thought that video wasn't very impressive? He looks like a great player, but probably more because of the people around him. He didn't create that many plays, they were just break away yards. Ingram does all of the dirty work, and is carrying his team that hasn't lost yet, on his shoulders. I don't know who should win because I haven't seen all of the candidates play, but I think you can make a case for all of them.

Toby Gerhart should win the heisman. turn it to the ND Stanford game and watch him. 25 carries 160 something yards and a td pass tonight. i think its his 6th or 7th 100+ yard game. 25 TDs and 1600+ yards. and he is better than ingram hands down.

oh and he's a white RB. cant get much better than that

I don't care if he was injured for a while, Tony Pike for heisman. Yes this is extremely biased..i go to UC and know he is out of the running. But seriously how sick is UC this year... I vote Brian Kelley coach of the year.

Hmm thats interesting. Its wierd though to think ingram is chosen higher than gerhart even though gerhart has better stats in every area. Jesus watching him play against ND right now. he is unreal

Yeah definitely, Gerhart should get it. I think Ingram will win though, mainly because Bama plays in the SEC and undefeated.

do you actually watch college football. you pretty much said the opposite of what is true.
cj spiller prettty much put clemson on his shoulders and carried them in some games.
ingram will not win the hiesmen unless he does something remarkable against florida.
ingram the last two weeks has played far below a hiesman level.

spiller is also versitile. he is a great running back but he is also THE best kick/punt returner in college football this season. and holds the record all time for kickoff returns for TDs.

like i said previously in the thread i strongly believe gerhart or mccoy will win the heisman.
and unlike ingram and spiller this weekend gerhart raised his stock for the heisman this weekend.


just want to put it out there that Alabama is severly overrated and it will show in the SEC championship and whatever bowl they play in.

exactly. Sorry if i was coming off a little bit biased about spiller, i know hes not the front runner in the heisman race. I just think he's extremely fun to watch and has made a huge difference for clemson this year.

cj defiantly deserves to win it. the heisman is for the best player in college football. he is, hes a great receiver, rusher, and kick returner.

after gerharts performance last night against ND. id have to say he would have my vote. in the three biggest games stanford has played(USC,Oregon and ND)gerhart has rushed for aleast 175 yards and 3 tds.pretty impresive.

but you never know tebow and mccoy both have great cases as well but as far as running backs go i would guess gerhart edges spiller and ingram.
