The search for good gangsta hip hop/rap

So while I have a really diverse taste in music, I've been starting to get way more into gangsta type hip hop and rap especially for park skiing. I've already got some good tunes, but I'm looking for more stuff with that hardcore gangsta feel to it, but not really any hyphy/bay type stuff either. Basically I'm looking for more songs that resemble some of these (I know these are pretty mainstream, but I'm down with anything as long as it's somewhat similar to these):












Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Haha, no worries man, I got you. Just make sure you hit the button with the cursive "f" in the circle at the top of the reply box and then post the embed code in the window that pops up. And only one embed code per pop-up window.

















Of course now that I said that, these better work.

TI and 3 6 dont belong in the good hip/hop category.

Use pandora or slacker radio to find some new stuff. Download DJ premiers new album, and his "inside lookin out" album.

I understand T.I. and Three 6 may not be considered good, core hip-hop but I don't really care. When I'm skiing park I am listening far more to the beat and rhythm of the song than I am the lyrics. That is why I was asking for stuff similar to the songs I posted. If I was looking for more meaningful/true hip-hop type stuff then I would have posted songs from DL, Common, AZ, Talib, Atmosphere, Nas, LD and Ariano and many others. I love that type of hip-hop as well, it's just that most of the songs from artists like these, don't emulate the feel of the type of music I'm looking for.

All that being said, thanks for the Killer Mike song, dope track for sure. And I'll check out the Premier album, I've already got some stuff from him, and he def kills it.
