I am designing ski graphics and am wondering if I am in the ball park of what you want to see...

I have some strong ideas of what is going to be great, but want to make sure i am thinking of the kids, cuz that is who this is for anyways!

I would love input from anyone and everyone on what you want your skis to look like!

please send any thoughts or sketches my way. Never know, your dream ski could come out in stores 11/12.

ok so it is pretty obvious what the OP is asking.. she's asking what you like in ski graphics and what you don't.. clearly she isn't asking people to submit designs to steal, just trying to get an idea of what graphics people like and what they don't, something every designer considers.. its basically a survey of the market..

personally i like simple graphics, nothing too flash, maybe with some bright colours on the bases to show up on footage. some favorites from recent years include.. 08/09 Moment Reno Jibs, most of Pollard's graphics and most of surface graphics full stop.

ok slight error on this one OP, you shouldn't have suggested people submit sketches as this is what you are getting hate for.. so basically give her some ideas and obviously don't submit your own work..

Point taken, seems my wording created quit the misunderstanding.

My intention here is to include the thoughts of skiers... the people who will ski on the skis.

I once was a kid wanting graphics that didn't exist... I would have loved to give input. That is just me.

To clarify the "sketches" comment, I was thinking if someone wanted to give an example with a textile or something.

I have already submitted my ideas and art but was just thinking it would be great to include you guys in this. I really was not looking to benefit here. It would be plagiarism to submit someone else's art anyways... this is something that never was even a thought in my mind.

i like graphics that look like they were taken from a painting or hand drawn like the 4frnt vct's and ehp's from last year.

nothing that look computer generated like everything else in this world

Get some asian art/graffiti style stuff into designs

i've been designing my room at home for a bit, trying to figure out what i want it to look like and these kinds of things are what i would want to see now days.
