Bad idea. Ever hear the term shit rolls down hill.

Your mom gives him crap and makes him stop who do you think bears the real burden. If hes needing to get some more action from mom who the hell do you think hes always going to side with. I'm just saying dads are almost always on your side when it comes to making decisions on what your allowed to do. So if its the choice between helping you out or making mom happy who do you thinks going to win.
