I'm a fairly aggressive east coast skiier, got about 35 days in last year, upping the count this year considerably. (no school and I will be working at a ski hill)
I'm looking for a ski that will excel all over the mountain, keeping in mind what is available to us ice coasters.
I've only been skiing for a year, but i'm charging all terrain available to me. (tight trees, jumps, most rails and boxes, some moguls) Just getting into spins, landed my first 3's at the end of last year. I definitely spend as much time hiking the park as I do skiing the rest of the mountain.
I'm 6'1 150 lbs.
I want flexy, poppy, lightweight ski that wont punish me when the deep conditions come around.
I had my eye on the elizabeth and the seths and I even dreamed about the night trains for a second. Also I approve of the afterbangs.
I've not skiied too many different sticks, but mine currently are the 08 silencers, and i've ridden then 08 dumonts and 07 arvs. The arvs were nice and soft, I liked that. Dumonts seemed a little stiff for my taste. I've tried to give my silencers flex but they just kill my shins when I butter.
Input greatly appreciated!
