How many days do you get out of a boot?

I was just thinking, and I think my full tilts have lasted the longest out of any boot I have ever owned. I got these boots at the end spring 2008 and I think they have seen over 150 days on snow so far. When I bought them I was told the intuition liner was not very durable and would probably have to be replaced, but they are still good. I am also planning on skiing them all season (which unfortunately is probably going to be a weekend warrior season.)

before these I always had foil /1080 boots and the liners usually ripped after like 80 days skiing on them, and the shells were always so beat is was worth it just getting new ones.

how long does a pair of boots last for you NS?

typical boot life is 100-120 days, but if you treat your gear like crap it will die sooner.  if you take care of it, it can (and does) sometimes last a good deal longer.

Been on my Comp 120's since 2002 with a average of about 50 days a year. Boots should last a couple years or more depending on how hard you abuse them. Hiking and walking on concrete can tear a boot up. Tip: for hiking keep your boots buckeld but on the loosest setting for comfort.You don't want to break one of those.

I have no idea how many days, but I got my boots in the fall of 04.  Granted I'm not like crazy, but they still get the job done.

to the average skier, boot (shells at least) should last 10 years at most. it may be much less for the liners, but the shell should last.

my moms been rockin the same boots for about 15 years now and they are still holdin up pretty well. shes gonna ski them until the shell literally breaks in half. ive got well over 100 on my nordicas right now and they still look damn near new and feel better than they ever have

120 days? that's not even a season for me. if my krypton pro id's don't last me the season, i'd be just a little pissed...

holy crap 10 years? my parents boots don't even last that long, maybe if you go like 8 times a year but I don't think that is exactly average

figure your not skiing them super hard, and you ski maybe 14 days a winter
lets say the boot lasts 140 days
140/14=10

woh you have me beat, i only got 250 outa mine before it got fuckered beyond repair... but i did send 45+ footer cliffs in them...

yeah i skied moguls in mine, possibly that is why they don't last long. The cables stretched and buckles broke but the platic and liners are all good

i skied big mountain comps in them.

i had to replace all the rivets last fall though.

i had some boots for two years each year being an average of 25 days. so about 50 days. but i grew out of them. i sold them as month old on ebay and the buyer was super happy with them.

yea same here i had to replace the rivets, the spoiler in both boots and also the laces twice. Im not very easy on my boots haha

i hate getting new boots because you have to go through the discomfort of breaking them in... my old technicas must have made to about 400 days before i retired them this year and picked up some agent 110s. They felt good at the shop so i hope breaking them in wont be to bad.
