Technical help - watching TV show on internet

I need assistance from someone who has a clue how to make this happen because the internet has decided to fuck with me, and I am not impressed with it.

I want to watch the first 4 episodes of V.

Normally, I would go to torrentz, search for the episodes, download them, and watch them. However, I did this, and none of the torrents work. They say they have plenty of seeds, but don't actually do any downloading.

I tried finding somewhere that hosts the videos online, but they all want me to pay money and complete surveys.

ABC.com does not allow me to watch anything because I'm outside of the USA. Same with Hulu and so forth.

This is fucking annoying. It should not be this difficult to watch a god damned TV show.

Suggestions, NSG?

Make sure you start the Ninjavideo Helper at the top in red, you just gotta click it and agree. It's all legit, promises. They do have ads every time you navigate away from a page, but you just click the "Skip This Ad" at the top right and you're good. It's slightly annoying but totally worth the quality of video.

Right now you have to make sure you haven't updated your divx, if you did they videos probably won't work, but they have instructions to deal with that on the homepage. Now, I'm just going to throw a disclaimer in here because sometimes their backended videos are not always reliable but they are super good with keeping up with nightly lineups. Good luck!

are you illiterate?

and try using freetube or whatever the canadian abc network channel. if you wait a little longer, V should come out onto the torrents, it always takes a month or so for people to get the urge to upload

i recommend tvshack.net, that is were i go for all my internet tv show watching but then again i dont live in canada so i dont know if it will work

hehe i just setup a slingbox that i got on ebay. Hello tv from anywhere in the world

but no if if wont let you watch it cause your not in the USA then you need to spoof your IP so that they think you are.

How technologically inclined are you?

The ninjavideos thing works for flash but it's low qual and kind of choppy. I am trying to make it play the hd 720 versions but it doesn't work yet. It just says "failed to connect".

Megavideos links were working, also kind of low qual but I watched a bit, except the vids themselves are apparently fucked up (like it'll show you the first 10 minutes, then the last 20 minutes, then the 15 minutes in the middle).

this has every tv episode, movie and anything else you can think of and it gives you multiple links normally to sites where it is hosted such as megavideo and such.

This is what I do.

I downloaded NoScript add-on for firefox, and have it active only for when I want to watch online shows, disabling it any other time.

Then I go to some site that hosts shows really recent like the new dexter shit such as latest episode, and with the noscript active, the fucking survey pop-up doesn't get in my way. Problem is: it disables all java scripts, so you have to allow the video to play, but that is simply done by clicking the video window. It could take a couple tries.
