i have some random 'isearch' thing that just showed up one day... i havent done anything about it

I just got the isearch too, as well as double click.. Double click is a pain in the ass, because I'll go to look at some websites and it'll just keep redirecting me to their page.

One method you guys can use to get rid of those backdoors/trojans is to use this antivirus program.

but it hasn't seem to get rid of isearch for me.

I had iSearch. all i did was open the registry (goto run then type in regedit) and goto HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE then to Software and found any folders called iSearch and deleted them then went to HKEY_CURRENT_USER and then software and deleted any iSearch things from there. Then you have to go to C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\ and there should be an iSearch folder. Delete what you can from that (you shouldn't be able to delete toolbar.dll). To delete that, i believe you can run your computer in safe mode then open run and type regsvr32 /u 'C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\iSearch\toolbar.dll' to disable the dll file then you should be able to delete it. Not sure about the deleting the dll because I haven't done that but the iSearch is gone and i can turn toolbars on and off again.

you have to update ad-aware a lot of the time too dont forget, thats the only way to get rid of newer stuff
