Just got linked to this from my university. You can get Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate for $60 beans if you are a student.

I think ill be dumping Vista now :D

i got it for $15 because best buy had a deal if you bought a new computer after June 1 you only have to pay best buy to upload it to your computer and you will get the disc's with it

my computer came with a free upgrade. i had 7 RC before I got retail in the mail though.

its a good play by microsoft making it so affordable, so everyone upgrades and PCs win again. vista just needs to be forgotten.

vista was working fine for me too
but the windows 7 ultimate upgrade was perfect. it doesnt effect any of your files or folders or programs or anything. it only changes the actual operating system  and throws in some of the new W7 programs  without making you have to start over...
