Next week I will have my pipe cleaners and my bent chetlers and I am gonna mount them.. the thing is that in 1 month I am gonna change ski boots which will propably will have a different sole lenght.. The mounting guy from the shop told me that if I do that the binding center will change because I will have to move only tha back part of the binding to fit the new ski boots.. So i will end up with a ski which will not be mounted at the same point as at the beginning.. what should I do?
thx!

Are you getting new boots in the same size, or a totally new boot in a new size? Going up 1 size should not make a drastic difference, but you should still go to the shop and get them adjusted to the new boots.

Will it make a huge difference? Probably not. I just got new boots and went from a 306 to a 301 BSL (both size 26 mondo). So what that means is that I'm going to be a little bit forward of my center mount by a few mm. Not that big of a deal. However, if you go from let's say a size 27 to a size 26 the difference will be roughly a centimeter.

lets say they were mounted dead center at boot center
well a smaller boot, for example, would have a center line that is farther forward, so adjusting the binding forward shouldnt make a difference, cuz the toe is stationary
its hard to explain
