Nope, it's above the tree line, there are a few around resort, but on the whole it's pretty barren.  It's in a valley 11mlies long, at at the bottom there are trees, and in the valley over, which is like two lifts from my house.  We have cliffs instead of trees!

I so wish i did a season - but then again university is fucking balling! im going with my university's ski club to Val Thorens in easter some time - well excited -

going to Espace Killy in 18 days with the club as well! Sooo stoked!

Malaysia is such a fucking sick club - but it is way too expensive - its like 8 euros for a drink - i can't afford that!

Its such a good place to go

the lower slopes around meribel can get pretty busy, but its such a massive ski area that you can just go wherever you want - there are plenty of parks about - but no way near as well as maintained as the US parks - its so sick and its really high as well - higher than the tree line in most parts ( and that means steep!)

Only downside is that the lifts lines can get busy and there seems to be a very high level of rudeness that you don't really see on US hills
