my brother is 245lbs and 6'4", skis on 90ish waist all mountain skis (bridges and now 191 punishers)... does steeps, groomers, trees, bumps, cliffs (no park). what din binding should he be on? i was looking at the charts and stuff for skier height weight ability etc, but can't find what I'm looking for. any quick help would be good. thanks
Any 18 DIN binding, ask a shop tech what DIN he should actually ride at though and have him test it for you cause bindings can sometimes be different then the number on the chart or even on the dial. I've seen two of the exact same bindings, but one acted as a 8 DIN on 7 and one acted as an 8 DIN on 8 - it depends on the springs and what not.
i actually had that today. before we send skis out at our shop, we do a "quality control" check, basically to make sure our techs didnt fuck up. and the guys binding were at a 6 on one, and a 7 on the other.
