Does having narrow skis make sliding rails harder?

yeah i saw a wicked good deal on some narrow skis, just wondering if this will affect rail slides

No I wouldnt think so unless you are maybe a begginer to rails but otherwise no and skiinier skis would probably help because the skinnier the lighter which means easier and fastier switch ups and spins out

from skiing on 78,86, and 92mm waists, i prefer 86mm.

well from a balancing point of view it will be slightly harder but for switchin up and pretzelin will be easier with the skinny skis

wider skis are more stable and narrow skis are more flickable. You would get use to whatever you slide rails on.

yeah this is pretty much what I have found with skis,
