the following are certainties:
1. there will be a sick down rail.
2. will wesson will throw the nuttiest tricks there and not podium.
3. there will be 7 skiers who deserve to be in the top 3.
4. LJ will be in the top 3.
5. compton will wear a camel-bak for hydration purposes.
6. evan williams will somehow compete, throw down, AND film and make an edit.
6.5 About half way through the qualifier, out come the big-spin disasters.
7. nico cioffi will waste the other snowboarders and do so looking as if he spent the night sleeping under a bridge.
8. the "filming" area will be crowded as a sonofabitch.
9. the caliber of cameras there will be such that having a DVX will make you feel small.
10. this will be one of the most fun comps of the year -- spectator or skier.

...or something like that.

In years past there have been quite a few snowboard judges judging the skier side of things. Thankfully Killington realized this and made me a judge.

ALSO (this is in bold because it's really important) Badfish is playing that night at the Pickle Barrel! This is the best Sublime cover band I've ever seen. I think all of NS should go to this show and rage.
