aight look here. how many of you actually know what is going on in the world and exactly why it's going on? all you people do is bitch and whine about what your governments are doing without really understanding it. i'm currently studying politics and i must say that if you put every single post about a political issue together, you may get 50% of the truth if you're lucky. so much shit goes on behind closed doors that you never hear about. you blame george bush for everything wrong with the world but fail to remember that he has several trusted advisors that tell him what he should do. all he does is take the shit for it. you want to talk about the war? ok. how many of you actually believe that the american government made public every shred of evidence they have regarding the war in iraq? if the evidence does exist, the people of the world will never know about it unless the american government is taken before the international court of justice. now we'll look at the incident involving the assassination of the hammas leader. many people believe this was flat out murder but they do not realize that hammas is a terrorist organization with deep roots in the muslim religion. many muslims deny that this is true but also many catholics believe that their religious leaders never had sex with young boys(man were they wrong).
the point im trying to make here is that instead of just running your mouth(or keyboard in this case) maybe you should study how a government works before you begin to talk shit!

My conclusion is that we should all put some seeds under the ground in some hot country(like mine,where the heat is too hot to move 3 feet away from the swimming pool)and just let it grow,because when i get old i wanna get stoned,but in order to get high i need to improvise some techniques for the growth of pot.

Yea its good alot of them cant vote but its more scary to think of how many uneducated ppl oout there can vote. I agree with the point that just cuz u study politics doenst make u more knowledgeable than n e one else as long as we take our info from more than 1 or 2 places and make our opionions from there while still realizing to keep an open mind about unrealesed facts or thihngs that could change. But i know that the govenrment doesnt realese everythign they know nd that is a good thing on many levels but that shouldt stop anyone from forming an opinion.

i love ns political debates. a bunch of uneducated (in politics) wealthy kids shooting thier mouths off, taking the sides of thier parents. throw in a few canucks, a few europeans that no speeka the english, and you have a great cross section of people that are either too young to vote or care, or not capable of voting (or caring). everybody just spits out political blabber that they overheard watching CNN or Fox News and relays it to the skiing community. even the most passionate, well thought out arguments aren't going to change a persons perspective on things like abortion or the war in iraq. its just perpetuating angst against not sharing a view with the other side.

i think you just need to keep in mind that the ignorance factor in these conversations is high. i don't really come on here to learn about current events (i can read the newspaper for that). in fact, i'd be great if people could actually read a newspaper article (from a reputable paper like the NY Times), before they start commenting on the situation. I just think its interesting to get others' opinions, but it would help if they were educated. Good post.
