Is 180 to big for someone 5'8''?

got some skis but 170 was to small so i went up to 180...not going to center mount but somewhat close to it...there watchlifes for anyone who cares

youll be fine. im your size and have  a pair of 179's and 178's and they almost feel a little small, but they are both center

id say its a little big for daily park needs but thats just my personal preference

I am 5-10 and feel just fine on 185 chopsticks, 179 K2s, and 182 Line SFBs. You should be fine, but it is a matter of personal preference.

you should be alright for normal groomers, the only thing i would worry about is park.

you should be fine, when you mount them centre they ride shorter too. plus long skis look legit

Dude, it doesn't matter how tall you are.  A ski doesn't know how tall you are, just how much you weigh.  What do you weigh?

no. With height (i'm pretty sure) you have more leverage to get up and over your tips on the butters and stuff.
Now on topic, They should be fine and you'll be able to go fast and look legit.

I'm 5'8" and ride 180 Watch Lifes. I have no problem throwing them around in the park.

And how strong you are, and how aggressive you ride. Height is a stupid indicator. Who came up with that shit? Maybe back in the straight stick days.
