What trick is this?....

ok so i have been shredding the boxes/rails at my local snowflex slope, got some new moves down on the boxes, like switchups and 270s on and stuff... but i have a new trick in my bag which i don't know what it is called....

its basically a 360/(even more rotations if you like) while on a box but your skis are still in contact with the box. it defo isnt a switch up and i don't think its a kfed... it looks pretty sick but i can't really say what it is called...

also is there a name for a regular slide along a rail? like snowboarders have 5050s and boardslides...

i just like to know the names so i can bore my friends with some more endless, aimless, inane lingo!

its easier done on wider boxes - like butter boxes and such like...

all the pros do it it the movies!

I think that a rail with no trick have no name because you can't do them in another way except blindsoul and one feet rails. Just call it rail

we used to call them disco spins back when we were just starting out. no one really does them anymore so i don't think they have a legit name.

okay cheers guys - so its either a surface switchup 3 or a disco spin - add it to the the ever increasing list!

ok defining question is. when you get on the box do you lock in then do the trick or do you not lock in and just start spinning from the original momentum of getting on the box?

We call them swivels in the snowboarding world... But its usually just a 180.
