i rode demo ones back in 07, or atleast a while ago. they wern't centre mounted but performed prity good though i mostly used them off piste.idk if that helps bt it depends what your gna do with them?

They are not symmetrical skis so they wont perform very well outside the park center mounted, but if your skiing strictly park then go for it

centermounting only makes sense on symetrical skis...
otherwise mounte in your sidecut center for best performance...

or if you have an asymmetrical ski and only want to spin in the park and not carve or ride it anywhere decent, center mount it (not geometrical center but weight center...)

I've got the same skis and a couple of years ago, I asked my shop if they could center-mount, but they just said it wouldn't work. It will mess up the feeling and carve of the ski because it's not a symmetrical ski, and therefore isn't made for that mounting position.

no.

these skis are not ment to be centermounted and if you do, you take away the whole point of getting ski like this...

the point being: a 'do it all' ski.

i personally think the recommended mark on them are way to far back, but then again i would never buy this ski anyways.

if you want to center mount a ski, then get a ski that is meant to be centermounted.

Core center is where the ski side wall is the thickest (generally speaking).
True center is measuring tip to tail and putting boot sole center in the middle of the ski.

They are usually two different placements, except on A symmetrical skis (K2 disorderly) where core center and true center are at the same point.  Most ski's will not ski very well mounted TRUE center if not intended.  Any ski that is A symmetrical will not ski very well true center mounted.  You will be to far forward and tips will feel soft.  K2 Disorderly is designed to be mounted only true center (in this case core center).  And will ski the same forward or switch.

Any ski not intended to be mounted True Center and is mounted that way will not carve to it's full potential.  Most twin tip ski's have a core center mount drawn on them, along with the traditional alpine mount location.  +2 from traditional alpine, is a good mount for all mountain/switch park riding.

K2 disorderly is a Symmetrical ski. In my first replay I mistyped it as an A-Symmetrical ski.

Center mounting K2 PE's at Core center would ski great as an all mountain/ park ski.

I have mounted them dead center before.  They worked fine.  I rode park and all mountain on them and I loved them.  Dropped ~ 10 foot cliffs and spun up to 9 without any real problems.  I have also had them mounted on suggested.  I prefer center though.

Also, this was all in like 2003/4ish time, before powder skis were necessary.

I think ideally in the middle of dead center and their core center would work the best.

I would personally mount @ -1cm from true center ... All the perks of a park set up without sacrificing too much all mtn performance .. Seriously tho, the public enemy is a rather stiff and heavy set up for a twin in the mid 80's waist dept. If you wanna dominate the park, i would hesitate to go any further back!

FYI asymmetrical is a word (as opposed to symmetrical). It is not A symmetrical, which is just confusing.
