IM TALKING ABOUT THE SKIS
My take:
Skied 7 days on them so far. Great rail ski. Haven't been hitting much jumps since I fucked my knee up last week, but on the one day I skied them they handled way better than my invaders ever did. They're soft when you want them to be but still remain snappy. They don't flop around like noodles and definitely are a lively ski with good pop.
Durability wise, I'm getting kind of concerned. After 7 days the topsheets and tips and tails are getting pretty worked. On one of the tails I have a pretty far crack down the top layer, and the layers seem to be separating. Otherwise the chips are nothing super bad, normal sized chips from a ski. I'm just concerned based off the construction, there's nothing sealing the wood inside and it's making me second think the whole "indestructable" claim from Line. We'll see how this plays out, it hasn't affected the performance in any way, yet. I'll probably seal it off with epoxy just to play it safe. I'm starting to think that like a skateboard, these things will wear out in a month. Hopefully that's not the case...I was sold on these simply because I put my park skis through fucking hell. I ski rails 75% of the time, all day, and I wanted a ski that can take that abuse. I ski jumps too, just not nearly as much as I ski rails. Line has impressed me with their durability in the past and I didn't want to get anthems again, I thought they were a little too wide for my liking, like I said, I don't ski jumps nearly as much as I ski rails.
So NS, what's your opinion? I know plenty of you kids got these kids...what do you think? How they holdin up?
