Center Mounting

Hey, What was it like for you guys switching to center mounted longer skis, is it harder to actually ride tip tail centered skis than skis that are mounted farther back on the tail, just wondering. i am witching from 161 1080 vinies that are mouunted pretty far back to 179 tip tail centered fujatives.

i felt like I had more stability, Mine skis arn't true center, but they aren't very far off, and I really like it, it actually feels more natual for me, the only disadvantage, which isn't one at all, is you will have to use your legs a little more in the deep powder.


If we(skiers) are trying to copy snowboarders so badly, why then do we have two sticks under our feet when they only have one?

why? i am gonna be on the east coast in pa so skiing isn't realy that great, but who actually only skis in the park ONLY? i dont but i think it would help me progress because of balance and such. is this true?

the only other skiiing that i do other than in the park is getting to the park because east coast skiing sucks

ALL SKIS HAVE SWEET SPOTS
as long as they're newschool skis, the're mounted more forward than normal.... MOUNT THEM WHERE THEY SHOULD BE to have full advantage of the ski

i like mine about two inches farther towards the tail..., but i guess its personal preference, and where your skis sweet spot is. Whoever said east coast sucks besides the park is a dumbass

if you land backseatthen center mounting will help a ton. i find it easier to do rails and to spin with your skis mounted center

well i am getting the 179s which will be harder to spin with then my 161 vinnies so i think i need all the help i can get.
