Wisdom teeth help

another thread about wisdom teeth, i know.

but my whole jaw hurts so much! its consantly throbbing, i can barely move my jaw.

did this happen to anyone else? does anyone know how to ignore / get over the pain?

i got mine out on tuesday. the shits gonna swell up and its gonna hurt like a bitch. totally normal. the pain and swelling is supposed to get worse for the first 5 days then subside. make sure you keep them clean rinse with warm salt water a bunch after the first day. take your pain meds before the pain starts and stay on top of that shit. just don't take them if you havent eaten. I spent all of yesterday puking over and over because i didnt eat enough before taking the pain meds. i couldnt even keep down 2 sips of water it was misery. right now my whole left side of my face is swollen from under my eye down to my neck. but yeah so pain and shit is normal its gonna be a bitch just keep em clean with salt rinse and stay on top of pain with the meds. make sure you ice for the first 48 hours then switch to heat compress.

ask for stronger pk's... also a good amount of ibuprofen will help and make sure to continuously ice 20 mins on 20 mins off

ibuprofen worked the best for me but pk's made me nice and relaxed. 

3 months later I felt like i had a chip stuck in my gum..it was a piece of my wisom tooth but dentist got it out no problem

my dentist gave me percocets.

i took them a while ago and just realized what they are right now. this shit is really fucked up.

yeah i just went with plenty of advil and tylenol and generally did whatever i could to keep my mind off of it. i ended up with a dry socket so that sucked too

eat low key stuff like rice, mashed potatoes, apple sauce. basically nothing with flavor if you are taking percocet or oxycodone. vomiting the day you got your wisdom teeth out sucks a fat black dick

that will change man. I'm day 3 right now and so fucking bored. I just want them to heal and not be swollen anymore. I JUST WANT SOME REAL FOOD GODDAMNIT!!!

When I had my wisdom teeth pulled it hurt but it never got bad. I was back to work and school two days later. Just relax and take your meds, there's really nothing more you can do, everyone has a different experience with their wisdom teeth.

i get mine out tomorrow (friday) morning. any chance ill be able to ski this sunday? cuz its PC's opening weekend.....and i really wanna

if i can suck it up and ski thru the pain, will it be legit, or is it like if you even stand up you feel like puking?

I got it bad. They had to drill them out, one wouldnt budge. When they were drilling blood was splattering on his facemask.

They hit a nerve take one out. They had to beat them with a chisel type deal.


And all I got was tylenol 3. Had to snag some snag some real pills to feel better.

Can't smoke cigs but i smoked a a bowl from time to time, that made me feel better. Def use a bong or bubbler.

or better a vap


But yeah no fun at all. I bought a few cases of pudding snacks and some  apple sauce for miine.

Itll feel better and the holes will close up

whatever you do don't overgauze after you get them out, i did this and couldn't really sleep the first night because I had all of this blood and crap still in my mouth.

everyone will have a different reaction to wisdom teeth being pulled. Some people have them pulled out when they are still impacted in the bone (aka the bone is still covering them up) this will result in the maxiofacial surgeon breaking the bone around the tooth in order to extract the tooth out. THIS HURTS LIKE A MOTHER FUCKER. Other people the teeth will be right at the surface or already broken the surface and it is a piece of cake and will be fine the next day.

You said you can't move your jaw. That is not normal. If this continues go back to ur dentist/oral surgeon and have him examine your jaw again.

it sucks, just cruise on advil. dont use there medication to much, it will fuck you up. It sucks to be burnt on on meds and have a mouth thats throbbing.

This thread tl;dr. However, I had my wisdom teeth out two summers ago. I rinsed with saltwater about ever hour / hour and a half and I barely swelled up.
