Okay, So i have searched through the threads and i can't find what I'm looking for so I'm asking you,
I'm getting Armada AR6's and im 5'10 185 pounds, I ski 75% park 25% all mountain. I'm going on a trip out to whistler and park city, and i need them to hold up in the pow for a few days. So i was wondering were should i get my bindings mounted? And what size?

181 would be great but 176 would also work. You could mount them at about 1 to -2.5 it really depends about you and if you think a couple of powder days if worth mounting your skis as an all mountain ski. My t-halls are at dead center and they are not great in powder but they work well for east cost powder days.

I just didn't really want to mount center because i want to be able to ride all mountain well and do a bit of racing on the school team haha.

I ride mine at -2.5 and really enjoy them, and they perform superbly in the park.

Okay thank you!
is there a reason you said 181 over 176?

Not really. Me personally, I like longer skis, but i'm also 6'1. You're probably in that gap where either size would work out fine for you. Comes down to preference I guess.

Yeah the 176 is a bit past my eyebrow and the 181 is at the top of my head.
I think im gonna go with the 181 because im still kinda growing lol.
Thanks man +K

this, you'll enjoy the longer length and the -2.5 mount on jumps and groomers for sure, and they're not bad on rails there either.

Has anyone noticed that the recommended lines aren't actually -5cm and -2.5cm from the true center of the ski? Maybe mine are mis-marked but i doubt it. The front line (-2.5) is actually about 5cm back from true center on my 176s, and the factory line (-5) is actually about 7.5cm back.
Mine are brand new and I've been debating how far back from center to mount. have read all the threads about ar6s and I was thinking 1.5-2 cm back from true center but now that I measured the skis and realized that the lines are misleading I dont really know what to do.
Who can spit their knowledge to me?

I have pipe cleaners, and the lines on my skis were dead on. Your top sheet might be slightly off center.
All times are Eastern (-5)
