Replying to Ideas for bypassing prerequisites
its registration time and I'm in my senior year and havent taken calculus (not a math person). Forest economics requires it (but doesnt actually use it). I'll be graduating in the spring unless I cant take this class. The class is only offered in the winter and is 3 credits.
So if I cant take this class now i wont graduate, will have to start paying my loans back because i'll be taking less than 12 credits, and not have a permanent job.
The instructor doesnt care about my situation and is pissed at my advisor for letting me get this far without calc. All I use in my classes is a lot of stats and algebra. I cant believe she is going to make me wait a year, pay for housing, food, living, etc all for a 3 credit class.
Anyone got any ideas on getting into the class? Go to the Dean? There are no other classes that will substitute for this class
Sparknotes: Cant get into class because of prereq. Class is only offered winter term. Need it to graduate in the spring or wait another year..
